Here i won't talk about all websites i visit everyday. Reason is that some are very famous and don't really need promotion.
Directories and search engines
- mozDex: finally an open search engine, we were waiting for it since a long long time...
- Photoblogs.org: the biggest photoblogs directory. Not any or a few are free, it's a shame, on the other hand we can find some very talented websites.
- ArtLibre.org: Licence Art Libre's website, there is also a large artistic directory, they have all in common to be free (Libre).
- Dmoz.org: the largest, most comprehensive human-edited directory of the Web, a good quality directory to advice for all who are searching something specific.
- Yahoo! Search: this link will make laugh more than one, but the search engine signed by Yahoo! is very good, maybe not better than Google but in all cases less monopolistic.

- Eoliens: a free directory with no commercial goals for creators and artists (i'm here: Pétale de temps).
- Bé.Org: an other nice photoblog, a less "naturalist" style but quite pleasant anyway. (If pictures of the homepage do not satisfy you, visit categories).
- Kalitee: a french directory for standards compliant websites, some very nice things to discover (i'm here: Pétale de temps).

If you want to be in this list please contact me :o). I often make some searches to find who is using some content from me, the most often they don't tell it at all.
They are hosting or have hosted this website
All of this hosters are part of the Réseau d'Hébergeurs Indépendants et ENgagés (RHIEN), they are all working for the same thing : launching a human hosting service.
- Gysmo.org: my current hoster, "free organic hosting".
- MondeLibre.org: an hoster who loves "Libre".
- eHol: one of my first free hosting from RHIEN and my first independant hoster, with a very friendly administrator :o).
